Sayulita

We actually went out of the casa around 9:30, a rare event for us two.

We were off to Sayulita. Once passed La Cruz you turn onto a jungly road with huge trees. There are a few places with lengths of fruit stand, perhaps they are small villages. Ken, as always found us shade parking in Sayulita, near the river. Our next event was to find a great coffee shop. It gets us walking around and exploring, gives us a purpose. We settled on a bakery about half a block from the ocean. A scruffy, furred Jack Russell joined us and allowed me to pet him. We tromped around more, visiting the Iguana tree or garden. We found the RV Park that Church's declared a "real find"and it appears to be. We met a young couple also driving a Previa van. We also met a lady taking pictures. Both sets of people where from gulf islands in British Columbia. We needed some lunch and went across the street from the little bakery to a taco stand.

Lots of gringos were in Sayulita with the retired crowd but also a great number of young people - surfers - good waves here. We drove around up in the hills but where we were there were very poor roads. The homes, however, were great looking and new.

Once home a swim in the pool cooled us down.
